Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

The hike this Sunday, November 7th will be Section 16 - also know as the Palmer loop trail. This is a easy to moderate hike to go up but quite steep coming back down. There is also a very nice side trail overlooking Crystal Park that we will probably want to take.

Come and enjoy good food and great conversation with other Freethinkers! Bring a dish to share, bring your spouse and/or friend, and bring water, soft drinks, a bottle of beer or wine, or whatever you’d like to drink. Coffee and tea will be provided by the host(s). Hike Waldo Canyon on Saturday November 20th

Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

There will be a hike on Waldo Canyon Trail on Saturday November 20th. This trail is almost 7 miles round trip and about 1300 foot elevation gain. I consider this an intermediate level difficulty hike. We will decide as a group which way to go around the loop.

Hi Hiking Freethinkers,

There will be a hike on Bear Creek Trail to Jones Park on Sunday November 21st. This is a relatively difficult hike with a significant elevation gain. The starting elevation is about 6600 ft and Jones park is about 8600 ft. The entire round trip is about 8 to10 miles. It is also possible for those who want to go only part way to Jones Park to return to their vehicle by themselves.
